ahh, i love san diego. so it's been a long time since i've written something. here's some lyrics i find interesting:

san diego is great - the weather is great and i can't seem to surf enough. i've been working full time for 6 months now and it seems to be moving along.

so i know it's been a real long time since I wrote a journal entry. I'm in London, England for another 4 weeks (I've been here for 2 already). Then I'm going to New York city for 2 weeks, then off to California to find an apartment and start a new job [and the rest of my life].

I've taken about 560 pictures, since I've been here, with my new digital camera that I bought just before I came here (it's an upgrade from my old 5MP to a new 7.1MP and it's a lot smaller and faster). For technical people out there, it's a Casio EX-Z750.

Well, I posted a few pics from this last weekend. I'll try to sift through some of the previous weeks and pick out the best ones and post here. Others, that I don't post can be found on the 'pics' section of www.nedarb.com.

sorry, again, it's been so long since my last writing. i've been working and overloading in school work - literally. i think i'm taking the equivalent of 20+ credit hours this term. i've got some awesome photos i took on a trip to san diego so i'll be trying to put those up whenever or if i ever have some spare time. i'm going to study abroad in puerto rico this coming term, so i'm psyched about that but pretty nervous and anxious about possibly graduating pretty soon.

anyways, i've got a new favorite song that i absolutely love. i heard part of it in the movie garden state, which i recommend everyone see. the band is "frou frou" which is one guy and one girl who compose and perform all of their music. it looked pretty cool - in one of their performance photos they have mac laptops in front of them and it's a regular stage-like performance. pretty crazy. anyways, i highly suggest you listen to their song "let go" and then the rest of their songs which are kind of surreal in a way.

so i was driving to church this morning and i had the incubus CD, morning view, with me. i was listening to the song "wish you were here" and i've always really like the lyrics in the song for multiple reasons but today it was not the "usual" reasons - it had nothing to do with the title of the song. here's what caught my ear this morning:

everytime i hear that i can almost feel myself in the same place that he's describing and with a simple feeling of self-happiness that has no flaws or conflicts - a nice escape from the reality we most likely live every day. oh well, i think those are some of the things that keep me motivated and alive in every sense of the word.

wow - it's been more than a month since i've written in here. things are really hectic with school and everything. things never stop. i'm always working on something or doing something. i was listening to a song called "screaming infidelities" by dashboard confessional and the song as a whole is completely not what i am thinking, but a specific line stuck in my head today: "your hair. it's everywhere." it just has a significance to me that i like to think about. well, i've been taking some pictures but none that are good enough to post but i'll be trying to take some more when i have time.
